These pedals are lighter and thinner than many other XC pedals, with a low stack height and more platform area for control and power transfer. An open center between the cages means increased mud shedding compared to other SPD-compatible pedals.
MAXIMUM SHOE CONTACT
The large platform area maximizes pedal and shoe contact. With many XC pedals, the only point of contact between the shoe and pedal is the cleat and cage, where it can feel like pedaling on a golf ball. With ALT Performance XC Clipless Pedals, the shoe contacts the pedal body to lock in your foot for enhanced performance.

Ground Clearance and Mud Shedding
We designed ALT Performance XC Clipless Pedals with a thin profile and an open center. The thin profile means a reduced chance of pedal strikes when cornering or riding over rocks and roots. The open center quickly sheds mud that can interfere with clipping in and out to ensure that your clips and unclips are quick and reliable.

ALT Performance XC Clipless Pedals are designed at Wolf Tooth HQ in Minnesota, USA. The internal components use the same proven design pulled from our Waveform flat pedals and premium clipless pedals. This includes three low-friction cartridge bearings and one igus bushing with a custom radial seal that protects internal components from trail debris. Simply put: these pedals will perform in any/all conditions.

These pedals are lighter (326g) and thinner (15mm) than most other XC pedals, with a low stack height and more platform area (534 mm²) for control and power transfer. An open center between the cages means increased mud shedding compared to other SPD-compatible pedals.

All SPD pedals benefit from simple regular maintenance. For best performance apply a drop of oil to the rear binding every 50 hours of riding or if you notice higher than normal clip in/out force. See the service guide for more information.
- Apply WT-G Precision Bike Grease to the pedal threads before installing pedals on crankarms.
