ALT XC Clipless Pedal
ALT-CLPS-PRU

ALT XC Clipless Pedals
Designed for commanding performance on trails and gravel roads. These pedals are simultaneously lighter and thinner than other XC pedals with an exceptionally low stack height, while also having more platform area for control and power transfer. An open center between the cages means increased mud shedding compared to other SPD-compatible pedals.

Maximum Shoe Contact
The large platform area maximizes pedal and shoe contact. This creates unprecedented control and power transfer for XC pedals. With many XC pedals, the only point of contact between the shoe and pedal is the cleat and cage, where it can feel like pedaling on a golf ball. With ALT XC Clipless Pedals, the shoe contacts the pedal body for enhanced performance on gravel and trails alike.

Best In Class
ALT XC Clipless Pedals are lighter, feature more platform area, and have a thinner pedal body than the competition for maximum control, power transfer, and ground clearance.

Stainless Durability
These pedals will outlast your bike. The stainless steel binding assemblies and axles create strong, rust-free pedals that are ready to ride hard on the nastiest dirt on the map.

Crisp SPD Clipping
Clipping in and out needs to be simple, quick, and reliable. The ALT XC Clipless Pedals feature an SPD-compatible stainless steel binding that will work with your existing SPD cleats. They are optimized for the Wolf Tooth cleats that are included in the box. We improved the clipping experience so you can swiftly clip in at the start of the race, stay clipped in when it matters most, and unclip as quickly as needed.

Adjustable Q Factor
Adjusting the Q factor (pedal stance width) moves the pedal toward or away from the center of the bike. The ALT XC Clipless Pedals have Q factor options of 51, 55, and 59mm to fine-tune your fit. Most XC clipless pedals have a stock Q factor around 55mm. Adjusting Q factor is simple enough to do at home.

Ground Clearance and Mud Shedding
We designed ALT XC Clipless Pedals with a thin profile and open center. A thin profile means a reduced chance of pedal strikes when cornering or riding over rocks and roots. The open center quickly sheds mud that can interfere with clipping in and out to ensure that your clips and unclips are quick and reliable.

Reliable Construction
ALT XC Clipless Pedals feature machined components from Wolf Tooth HQ here in Minnesota, USA. The internal components use the same proven design from our popular Waveform Aluminum Pedals, including a machined stainless steel axle, three low-friction cartridge bearings, and one igus bushing with a custom radial seal that protects internal components from trail debris. Simply put: these pedals will perform in any/all conditions.

We believe in your right to be able to fix your components. Crashes happen, parts get misplaced, things go bump in the night. All individual parts are available as replacement parts.
