Engineered and Machined In-House
Our MTB hubs are engineered and machined in-house from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum. Quintessentially Wolf Tooth by design, they feature a lightweight hub shell and beautiful Color Shop anodized finishes to match your other Wolf Tooth components and accessories. Wolf Tooth Straight Pull MTB Hubs are available in 28 hole.
Perfect Preload For Prolonged Bearing Life
The Perfect Preload system eliminates the need for bearing preload adjustments using a tuned wave washer. Bearing preload is optimized and set during hub assembly (and during repeat tear down and re-assembly during service) and dynamically adjusts over the life of the hub. Simply torque the hub to spec. No special tools required.

Proven Performance
During development, we explored numerous options for the drive system in our new lineup of MTB hubs. Proven by some of the fastest XC cyclists in the world, we chose to build our hubs around the Enve INNERDRIVE system for its perfect balance of high rolling efficiency, prolonged bearing life, and immediate, zero flex engagement for powerful performance on and off-road.
Oversized 42mm Steel Ratchets
The oversized INNERDRIVE ratchet rings found inside Wolf Tooth Mountain Hubs provide numerous benefits over traditional ratchet style hubs. First, the larger diameter drive rings allow for higher engagement tooth counts without sacrificing durability. Next, riders have the option of choosing between a 60, 80 (stock offering), and 100t drive ratchet to tune the hub engagement rate to their preferences. With the highest tooth count, our hubs will engage in as little as 3.6 degrees. Finally, this is paired with the Perfect Preload system which delivers tool-free, adjustment-free preload on the hub internals for prolonged bearing life, minimal maintenance, and reduced drag.

Wolf Tooth Mountain Hubs are warrantied for defects in material or workmanship for a period of five years from the date of purchase.

This result is a balanced hub optimized for pure performance and extreme durability, with a lightweight, beautifully machined hub shell that is easy to service and configure to suit a wide range of rider preferences. The INNERDRIVE internals feature oversized 42mm diameter steel ratchets and Perfect Preload for low rolling resistance and prolonged bearing life. Riders have the option of choosing between a 60T, 80T, or 100T drive ratchets to tune hub engagement to prioritize lower drag or quicker engagement.
