Introducing the CAMO Direct Mount Spider for Shimano
We’re thrilled to introduce the CAMO Direct Mount Spider for Shimano. This Spider is designed to work with Shimano mountain bike cranksets that have a removable spider. This includes several XTR, XT, SLX, Deore Boost and Super Boost Cranksets.
We created CAMO (Chainline and Material Optimization) for direct mount style cranksets. Easily swap between chainrings on a whim and enjoy a variable selection of chainring options, all compatible with your selected CAMO Spider or BashSpider. With no nuts or spacers involved, swapping chainrings takes less time than brewing a cup of your favorite beverage.
The CAMO System provides key rider advantages by offering up to 4 different chainline options for one direct mount style (for instance, Shimano Direct Mount) and the ability to swap chainrings without having to remove your crankset. CAMO Spiders are made from 7075 Aluminum, known for its strength, stiffness, and light feel. The following chart provides a visual breakdown of the CAMO system:
Each of our four CAMO Chainrings features the same Drop-Stop technology as our mountain, CX, gravel, and road chainrings, which ensures maximum chain retention in all conditions.
Wolf Tooth’s new CAMO Direct Mount for Shimano joins a large family of CAMO-compatible brands, including Cannondale, E13, Race Face Cinch, Specialized S-Works, SRAM, and White Industries. Learn more about the CAMO System here. CAMO Direct Mount Spiders for Shimano are available now.

Solve Most Trailside Repairs with the Wolf Tooth 8-Bit System
The multi-tool: arguably one of the most important items any rider should carry in their pocket, bar bag, or tool wallet. Wolf Tooth’s 8-Bit System is designed to remedy most trailside problems with expertly machined tools made right here at Wolf Tooth HQ.
Our 8-Bit Pack Pliers can be used alone or paired with the 8-Bit Kit One and/or 8-Bit Kit Two. The 8-Bit System features magnetic attachments so you can easily stack your multi-tools together (and keep everything in one place!). With three configurations to choose from, the 8-Bit System is the only multi-tool with 25+ features specifically meant to keep you riding, whether it's to the next trailhead or to your local bike shop.

Did you know that the 8-Bit Pack Pliers inspired the evolution of the 8-Bit System? On their own, the 8-Bit Pack Pliers have 17 functions, including a spoke wrench; valve core wrench; flat head #3.5 and Phillips #2 screwdriver bits; 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8mm hex bits; T10 and T25 Torx-compatible bits; pliers to install or remove master links as well as tighten valve stem lock nuts; storage for master links; and a rasp to clear tire sealant clogs from the valve stem.
The 8-Bit Kit One includes all the features of the 8-Bit Pack Pliers in addition to the features of the 8-Bit Chainbreaker + Utility Knife Multi-Tool and the 8-Bit Tire Lever + Rim Dent Remover Multi-Tool. The 8-Bit Kit Two is similar, except the 8-Bit Tire Lever + Rim Dent Remover Multi-Tool is swapped for the 8-Bit Tire Lever + Disc Brake Multi-Tool.
Can’t decide between the 8-Bit Tire Lever + Rim Dent Remover Multi-Tool or the 8-Bit Tire Lever + Disc Brake Multi-Tool? The 8-Bit Tire Lever Kit One includes the best of both worlds. Easily remove tires with the high-strength plastic lever. The machined ends are used to remove rim dents, true rotors, and open/close the compression nut on hydraulic brakes.
The following chart breaks down each 8-Bit System configuration and its available features so you can choose the multi-tools best suited for your needs.
Wolf Tooth believes in the Right to Repair, which is why we offer replacement parts for most of our tools, components, and accessories. If you happen to lose a bit or tool on the trail, a replacement is just a click away.
Ride with confidence knowing you have a full arsenal of multi-tools in your back pocket (or frame bag) with the Wolf Tooth 8-Bit System. View all 8-Bit System configurations by clicking here.
