My name is Steve Vanderhoek, I’m 36 and born and raised on the North Shore! I have worked as a career firefighter since 2012 and I love riding my bike. My passion is creating lines that push my riding, creativity and building skills. Im lucky enough to be married to my best friend and professional photographer Kelsey Toevs who always manages to make me look better than I am. I want to bring the community together through bikes and always keen to ride with anyone. More time on bikes, see you on the trails!
We're stoked to continue working with Steve again this season. A rider who has been consistently upping the ante with his control, finesse, and technical skills constructing AND riding some of the most immense features on the planet. He is jaw dropping to watch on the bike, while remaining humble and down to earth off the bike. Steve embodies what it means to be a positive advocate for the progression of our sport. We can't wait to see what he gets up to this year!

Once in Oregon, Kurt has primarily followed the Oregon Timber Trail. Using elevation gain as a metric for daily effort, he explains how climbing has taken priority over daily mileage, aiming for 7,000 to 8,000 feet of climbing per day.
Alexey Vermuelen: Victorious at Chequamegon
Chequamegon is one of the races in the LTGP that is easily overlooked, but in my opinion has the most exciting finish line of the whole series. What seems on paper to be a very straight forward race never ends up being so simple, but who doesn't like a 20-30 person sprint to the finish line?
Kurt Refsnider and Josh Weinberg sit down and chat about Kurt's first 12 days on the trail through the state of Washington.
