Drop-Stop ST Direct Mount Chainrings for SRAM Cranks

Wolf Tooth Direct Mount Chainrings for SRAM Cranks are now available in our Drop-Stop ST tooth profile! This tooth profile is optimized for the 12-speed Shimano Hyperglide+ chain: a first for our Direct Mount SRAM chainrings. Drop-Stop ST leverages the Shimano HG+ chamfers to provide additional clearance, prevent wear while riding, and also to ensure chain retention on varied surfaces. Compatible with cranks from SRAM, Praxis, Cane Creek, and other cranks that use a three-bolt direct mount, this chainring is available in both round and PowerTrac elliptical in 30T, 32T, and 34T with Boost offset.

Each Wolf Tooth chainring is engineered with a specific wide/narrow tooth profile to align with a broad range of modern cranks and drivetrains. Our Drop-Stop technology delivers unparalleled performance, and, given the growing popularity of Shimano Hyperglide+, we wanted to update one of our most popular mountain chainrings to accommodate the fast shifting and efficient power transfers inherent to the functions of the Hyperglide+. Our Drop-Stop ST tooth profile takes full advantage of the HG+ chamfer angles to better align the chain to the chainring and also improve chain retention on bouncy rides. In addition, the chamfers on the chainring’s teeth are engineered to provide clearance and prevent contact with the chain, thereby increasing overall longevity. Rad!

Wolf Tooth chainrings utilize either Drop-Stop A, Drop-Stop B, or Drop-Stop ST tooth profiles in their design. Each profile is compatible with a specific grouping of drivetrains and applications, allowing you to further optimize your ride. Have a mountain bike with a 12-speed SRAM chain?
